Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction.
I'm completely obsessed with both Ratchet & Clank and Insomniac Games, enough to contemplating buying a PS3 for Ratchet & Clank Future alone.  It's unfortunate that Sony didn't learn from Nintendo's mistake, the N64.  The ultra cool, ultra powerful machine, with no library of games.  The N64 was the greatest piece of technological hardware for its time when it was released and I was one who was caught up in its glory, only soon to be burned by its complete lack of games and support.  Due to failure of the N64, I ended up buying a PSx & eventually a PS2.
It now appears Sony has taken the same path in history, with an ultra powerful, do everything machine, although it does far less than they first advertised, and even their backwards compatibility with PS2 games is lacking, especially with the 60Gig+ models.  I'm actually happy to see the Wii selling so well and to see Nintendo make a smart move in a viciously competitive market.
In anycase, I don't know where my case of Ratchetitis came from, but it itches and it itches badly.  I only have Up your Arsenal and have not played the other two or deadlock.  Ever since I've read about the way Insomniac is managed and how everyone is apart of the creative process, which is complimented by the podcasts that I listen to that they put out every two weeks, I can't stop dreaming of it as a place to work.  All development jobs are boring, some are grueling, while others are better than some.  The point is, if I"m going to slave over 50 hours a week on code, why not do it in a field I love, which is game development.  To be apart of a company like Insomniac to release a game is just an awesome feeling.  Unfortunately, InsomniacGames is in Burbank, CA.  A coast away, near the area in California which I used to live.  If I never had been pulled from California, I probably would have a great opportunity to work there, but it is also possible that by leaving California I took the path that prepared me to enter the programming field.  Oh well, that's all I have to say, enjoy this Ratchet & Clank spot and don't let your Ratchetitis flare up too much, there's no ointment for it yet.

Yeah, but I don't like the side panels too much. The tags and summary don't do much for me.
